The long wait for Haryana Board students is finally nearing its end! The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has officially kicked off the final and most crucial phase before declaring the results: the evaluation of your answer sheets.

  • Evaluation Kick-Off: Class 10 answer sheet checking begins on April 2, followed by Class 12 on April 3.
  • Result Timeline: Expect the HBSE Class 12 results by the second week of May, with Class 10 results to follow shortly after.
  • Strict Protocols: The board has implemented rigorous new measures, including random rechecking, to ensure fair and accurate marking.

BSEH Evaluation Timeline Unveiled

As per the latest update from StudyHub, the BSEH is moving full steam ahead with the result preparation process. The board has appointed a massive team of 6,969 teachers to evaluate the Class 10 answer scripts, a task scheduled to run from April 2 to April 24. For Class 12 students, the checking process will commence on April 3 across 52 designated centers and is expected to conclude by April 28. This systematic approach ensures that every paper is reviewed meticulously before the final scores are compiled.

What’s New in the Checking Process?

This year, the Haryana Board is leaving no stone unturned to guarantee transparency and accuracy in the evaluation. To maintain a high standard of quality, examiners will check a limited number of copies on the first day to get accustomed to the marking scheme. Following this, they will evaluate a set number of 30 copies per day. In a significant move to eliminate errors, chief examiners will randomly re-evaluate 10% of the checked answer sheets, adding an extra layer of verification to the process.

The Future of HBSE Exams: On-Screen Marking

Looking ahead, the BSEH is also embracing technology to modernize its examination system. The board has announced plans to introduce on-screen marking starting from the 2026-27 academic session. This digital shift is aimed at reducing human error, increasing transparency, and significantly speeding up the result declaration process. This forward-thinking initiative aligns with the goals of the National Education Policy to create a more efficient, flexible, and skill-oriented educational framework for students.
