What Comes After the Results?
With the toppers and cutoff marks now clear, the focus shifts to the counselling and admission process. Candidates who have met the qualifying cutoff marks are eligible to participate in the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. (CCMT). The first round of COAP counselling is scheduled to commence on May 11, marking the official start of the admission season for IITs, NITs, and other top institutions.

Your official GATE 2026 scorecard is a vital document for the admission process and is valid for three years. You can download it for free from the official GATE portal until May 31. After this date, a fee of ₹500 will be applicable for downloads until the end of the year. Ensure you have your enrollment ID and password ready to access and print your scorecard.
