
NIOS On-Demand Exam Results Are Out!
The wait is finally over for thousands of students! The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the results for its On-Demand Examinations (ODE) held between January 16 and January 31.

January Exam Performance Insights
The latest results showcase a strong performance by the candidates. For the Senior Secondary (Class 12) course, out of 3,927 students who appeared, 2,373 were certified, marking a significant pass rate. Similarly, the Secondary (Class 10) course saw 982 out of 1,777 appearing students successfully pass, achieving a 55.26% pass percentage. The performance across genders was nearly identical, with marginal differences in pass rates for both male and female learners.
Official documents, including mark statements and migration certificates, are now being sent to NIOS regional centres. Students should contact their respective centres for collection. If you notice any errors in your result, you have 30 days from the declaration date to report them.
How to Check Your NIOS On-Demand Exam Result
Accessing your scorecard is a straightforward process. Follow these simple steps to view your result:
- Navigate to the official NIOS results website.
- On the homepage, locate and click the link for the On-Demand Examination Result.
- Enter your enrolment number and the required captcha code for verification.
- Click ‘Submit’ to see your detailed result on the screen.
- It is highly recommended to download and save a digital copy or print your result for future records.
Not Satisfied? Here’s How to Apply for Re-evaluation
If your score isn’t what you expected, NIOS offers a chance to apply for rechecking or re-evaluation. This service will be available for 15 days, beginning March 27. The fee for rechecking is ₹400 per subject, while re-evaluation (exclusive to Class 12 students) costs ₹1,200 per subject, with an additional ₹50 online processing fee. Applications can be submitted through the official NIOS portal.
