Age Limit
Age will be calculated as of January 01, 2026.
Forest Guard, Field Guard, and Jail Prahari: Minimum 18 Years to Maximum 33 Years (for UR Male).
Assistant Jail Superintendent: Minimum 21 Years to Maximum 33 Years (for UR Male).
Maximum age for Female (UR) and reserved categories is 38 years.
Eligibility
Forest Guard & Field Guard: Must have passed 10th class (High School) under the 10+2 system or Higher Secondary from a recognized board.
Jail Prahari: Must have passed at least High School examination under the 10+2 system or Higher Secondary from the old system.
Assistant Jail Superintendent: Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

Forest Guard: Rs. 19500-62000
Field Guard: Rs. 19500-62000
Jail Prahari: Rs. 19500-62000 (Level-4)
Assistant Jail Superintendent: Rs. 36200-114800 (Level-9)

How to Apply
Step 1: Applications will only be accepted online through the official MPESB portal.
Step 2: Candidates must ensure they meet the educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria before applying.
Step 3: Applicants must submit a single application form and indicate their post preferences/options clearly.
Step 4: Keep scanned copies of a recent color passport-size photograph, signature, and self-handwritten declaration ready for upload. The photograph must display the candidate’s name and the date it was taken (not older than three months).
Step 5: Ensure your registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Office is active and valid.
Step 6: Pay the requisite application fee via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or through an MP Online Kiosk.
Step 7: Submit the final application and retain the computerized receipt containing the transaction details and application number for future reference.
