A Landmark Debut in Agriculture

In a significant first, the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) has made a stunning entry into the prestigious rankings for Agriculture & Forestry. The institute, often called the Pusa Institute, secured a spot in the 151–200 band globally. This achievement places it alongside three other top-tier Indian universities, including Banaras Hindu University and the University of Delhi, highlighting the country’s growing strength in agricultural sciences.

IITs Lead the Tech Charge

When it comes to engineering and technology, India’s premier institutes continue to be a global force. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi leads the pack, securing an outstanding 36th position worldwide. It is closely followed by IIT Bombay at 42nd and IIT Madras at 62nd. Further solidifying India’s reputation as a tech powerhouse, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Kanpur also feature prominently in the top 100, ranked 64th and 84th, respectively.

In the critical field of Life Sciences & Medicine, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) stands tall at the 217th spot. Meanwhile, IIT Bombay also excelled in Natural Sciences, achieving the 78th position. For management aspirants, an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) made its mark by securing the 78th spot globally in Business and Management studies.
