SSC JE & CHSL Tier 2: Mark Your Calendars
The wait is finally over for candidates preparing for the next stage of the SSC JE and CHSL examinations. For the Junior Engineer (JE) Paper 2, the city intimation slip will be available from March 27, followed by the admit card release on April 4. The main examination is scheduled to take place on April 7. Similarly, for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 2 exam, candidates can check their exam city from April 10. The admit cards for the CHSL Tier 2 exam, which is also scheduled for April 10, will be issued on April 7. Aspirants are advised to download their hall tickets as soon as they are released to avoid any last-minute issues.
Crucial Update: New Scribe Registration Rules
In a significant policy shift, the commission has overhauled the scribe registration process. All previous scribe registrations made before November 5, 2025, have been nullified. Candidates requiring a scribe must now complete a fresh registration on the official website, which is now mandatorily linked with Aadhaar authentication. This is a critical step that cannot be overlooked.
To ensure a smooth process, candidates must provide their scribe’s new registration number to generate an entry pass. There are strict deadlines for this: JE Paper 2 candidates must link their scribeβs One Time Registration (OTR) by 11 pm on April 3, while CHSL Tier 2 candidates have until 11 pm on April 5. The scribe’s entry pass will only be issued after this mapping is successfully completed.
What’s Next for Candidates?
The competition is intense, with 15,607 candidates shortlisted for the JE Paper 2 and over 39,000 qualifying for the CHSL Tier 2. This announcement sets the final stage for these aspirants. It is crucial to stay updated with all official instructions and prepare diligently for the exam day.
