धारा 121
जो कोई भारत सरकार के विरुद्ध युद्ध करेगा, या ऐसा युद्ध करने का प्रयत्न करेगा, या ऐसा युद्ध करने का दुष्प्रेरण करेगा, वह मृत्यु दंड या आजीवन कारावास से दंडित किया जाएगा और जुर्माने से भी दंडनीय होगा।

देशद्रोह (Treason) का सबसे बड़ा रूप! यदि कोई व्यक्ति या गुट हथियारों के साथ भारत सरकार को उखाड़ फेंकने (Insurrection/Mutiny) की कोशिश करता है, तो उसे BNS 147 (पहले IPC 121) के तहत सीधे फांसी (Death Penalty) या उम्रकैद की सजा दी जाएगी।
