यह 'Volenti non fit injuria' (स्वेच्छा से जोखिम उठाना) का सिद्धांत है। BNS 25 (IPC 87) के अनुसार यदि 18 वर्ष से अधिक का कोई व्यक्ति बॉक्सिंग मैच खेलता है (सहमति से) और उसे चोट लगती है, तो मुक्केबाज पर 'चोट पहुंचाने' का केस नहीं चलेगा।
