Are You Eligible? Check the Criteria

To be considered for PhD, MTech, MS, MDes, and MPP programs, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale or 60% aggregate marks. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the requirement is relaxed to a 5.5 CGPA or 55% marks. For those targeting MSc and MA programs, the eligibility is set at a minimum CGPA of 5.5 (5.0 for SC/ST/PwD) or 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD).

Important Exam Scores You’ll Need

A valid national-level examination score is mandatory for most full-time programs. Candidates for MTech and MS must have a qualifying GATE score, while MDes applicants need a valid CEED score. However, there’s a significant exemption: Graduates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a JEE-based degree and an impressive CGPA of 8.0 or higher are not required to have a GATE score, offering a direct pathway for top academic performers.
