For Paper 2 (Classes 6-8), a graduation degree combined with a BEd, DElEd, or a similar course is required. Understanding the Exam Format

Both OTET papers will consist of 150 objective-type questions, with each question carrying one mark, for a total of 150 marks. A major relief for candidates is that there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. To qualify, candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks. The syllabus covers essential topics like Child Development & Pedagogy and two language papers. Subject-specific sections include Mathematics and Environmental Science for Paper 1, and a choice between Mathematics & Science or Social Studies for Paper 2.
